Live Looping at Fusion Festival

  • Fusion Festival Am Flugplatz Lärz, MV, 17248 Germany (map)

Far away from everyday life, a very special kind of parallel society is created for five days. In a collective state of exception, a carnival of the senses unfolds in a place without time, reflecting the longing for a better world.

But because there is nowhere where people are free, it is precisely the union of fusionists from all countries and vacation communism that makes us feel that we want more than what we are offered in this life.

Duos Duet is a Berlin-based violin cello duo founded in 2017 by two Iranians: Niki Yaghmaee (Violin) and Golsana Shenasaei (Cello). Originally rooted in the classical and contemporary ensemble scene, the two artists stepped away from institutional settings to explore a more personal and experimental musical path. Their journey began with street performances in Tehran, evolving into a nomadic exploration of sound through appearances in Tbilisi, Istanbul, Izmir, and Berlin. Their music weaves together cinematic atmospheres, classical world-crossover, and experimental sound design. Drawing on their classical training and Iranian heritage, they incorporate looping and live electronics to create immersive, dark, and emotionally resonant soundscapes.
